Stuff
1. This was encouraging to me because we may not have a lot of skill on our leadership team, but we do have cohesion. And, by the way, this is one of my favorite blogs.
2. Ben Wright is making a thoughtful observation of the obvious in his comments on Fundamentalist Indifferentism and people continue to miss the point. It’s not about Calvinism, people! It’s about selective indifferentism that fails to grapple with theological and cultural realities. The villagers obsess about the rituals of face-painting but could care less whether their people are naked or not.
3. I was disappointed with Chief Justice Roberts. I felt he failed to bring to the Presidential Oath the gravitas befitting the history-making moment with his quick, jerky motions and his flubbing of the 35-word recitation. One expects more.
4. I have a hard-bound, first edition copy of D.L. Moody’s “The Way to God.” Is it worth anything?
