John Piper, American Girl, and Holy Ambition

Several things are good about this little clip.

1. The website. Rebelution. Good thing.
2. A pastor taking time in his message (about seven minutes) to address the children specifically.
3. It’s John Piper.
4. Piper admits to a vague awareness of American Girl (although he confesses how he was so able to rattle off the names).
5. I have a fondness for American Girl.

Excellent. Especially #2. I’m going to sit my daughters in front of this to hear it.

Smaller point, and shameless cross promotion, that’s what I love about catechism at our church. The pastor actually interacts and instructs the children.

Thanks for pointing this out.
