The Adoption of Grace and the Grace of Adoption
If you want to follow a sweet and moving account of a family of four natural born children that decided to add to their number a Chinese born girl they are naming Grace, then follow Shannon and Tricia Brown’s story. Our own Joy McCarnan has traveled down to NC to care for the four children while Shannon and Tricia fly to China. They are in the air today. It is a beautiful thing to read as their story unfolds before your very eyes. Follow along!

they’re having a bit of trouble with their journal this morning, but it’s being worked on. shannon and tricia have been in china now (9:25am our time) for about 7 hours (haven’t slept in about 29 hours aside from cat naps on the jet). i posted a photo album of the kids’ day yesterday at this link, if anyone wants to ‘meet’ them.

Today (Mother’s Day) was “She’s Ours! Day”—and a visit to the journal (http://www.youbelong.net/thebrowns) is WELL WORTH everyone’s time. (I’m not prejudiced at all!) She is beautiful, and she is theirs.

[Quibble—I’m a little surprised to see you use the words “natural born children” to refer to their other four…she was born naturally, too. :-) We like to use the word “biological”, as clunky as it is. We don’t want our children to think of themselves as “unnatural”.]
