FADD
When a church member called me today about directions to the American Girl store in Chicago, I thought I’d better hastily post Chris Anderson’s announcement of the formation of FADD - Fathers Around Daughters with Dolls.
FADD is Chris Anderson’s brain-child, but he rightfully gives credit to my own personal testimony about American Girl for inspiring his idea. (Thank you very much). Anyway, if you have nothing profitable to do on your next coffee break, dads, read Anderson’s blog.
By the way, Anderson’s blog is a favorite of mine for other things too.

I don’t want to derail this thread too badly but I too have a young girl that likes American Girl dolls. But I was recently very disapointed to learn that they are selling the “I Can” bracelet ( http://store.americangirl.com/shop/ican.php ) which supports the organization “Girls Inc.”
Girls Inc. supports abortion for girls, sexual promiscuity, and lesbian activity.
Its disappointing to me to see a company that pays “lip service” to supporting girls actually tears them down buy supporting the morally corrupt principles that are ravaging our young people.
Of course we expect the world to behave like the world, but I also have the choice of where I spend my money so I decided not to give them any more of it ;-)

Eek,
I am interested in what you say. I’m not sure, I would boycott. Presently, I’m inclined to think as Joe Fleener does. Here is what he said on the same topic.
