“Rejoice with me”

I’ve got to share with you an email I got from my Dad today (without asking his permission - he’s already in bed tonight). But this is good. He had a very good day.

Subject: Special Day!!!!! (I knew he was pumped when I saw this subject line!)

Two people many have prayed for received the Lord today. Derek walked in about 9 this a.m. and said “do you know what?” I could tell something was up. He said, “I think Francis is saved.” Francis has been Derek’s best friend all through college, but these last few months Derek has been a very verbal witness. Last night he spent the night with him, and talked earnestly with him about his lost soul. He said Francis bowed his head and confessed that he was a sinner, and prayed for salvation and deliverance from sin. Derek was just radiant. This evening Gina showed up at Alicia’s door. She said they hadn’t finished the first Bible study, and wanted to know if they could finish it. She accepted the Lord with Alicia, and then Alicia asked if I could come and Gina told me about it. It was very clear cut, and we are thrilled. Many have been praying for Gina, I know. Don’t know how many were aware of Francis. He has never once come to church with Derek. He’s come to the Repas Agape the last two years, and to the wedding we had two years ago, because Derek was singing a solo in it. But other than that he has seen to it that he never got caught in church. We’ll see if that changes. I suspect it will.

Love you all.
Dad

I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth ~ Jesus Christ

In Pessac, France, there were two sinners that repented!

Hallelujah!

Praise the LORD!
It is exciting to hear of people coming to the knowledge of the LORD, and to see them grow in the Faith and Knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To God be the Glory!

What an encouragement this must be to those who have done the sowing and watering. Praise the Lord!

It is always wonderful to hear of people being saved. Two at one time in France is even better. Thanks for sharing.
