Don’t Forget
I am thankful for several churches who have given significant gifts to help in the post-Katrina ministry down South. Bethel of Schaumberg provided the necessary funds so that my wife and I could travel to Louisiana to pick up a family and move them back to Rockford. We are also grateful to Red Rocks Baptist Church (formally South Sheridan Baptist Church in Denver, CO) for a generous contribution to our evangelistic efforts in Lafayette, LA. Others, such as Cleveland Park Bible Church in Spartanburg, SC and Faith Baptist in Warren, MI have been very helpful. All this to say, that the work in the South is not yet finished. Besides churches we have had a number of private contributions ranging from 50 dollars to 4000 dollars and anywhere in between.
We received a call this week from a church that is working very hard to minister to victims of the hurricane pleading with us not to forget them. We haven’t. The door is still wide open for variouis kinds of ministry. If you are interested in helping, maybe we can help. Global Grace is working hard every day to have a Gospel-centered impact on the region. As the pastor from Mobile, AL said to us, we say to you, “Don’t forget!”
